    - At the end of the Bash the members who are leading each division will be declared the winners.(All entries will be validated by the administrators)

    Rules:

    1) The 2017 Summer Bash is free for everyone to enter. At no time will you be asked to pay to enter or pay to sign up towww.pafisherman.com.

    2) The fish must be placed flat on a surface (ground counts) next to a measuring tape or measuring stick. Home-made measuring devices do not count. The length of the fish must be easily determinable by this and the moderators/administrators of pafisherman.com will assign each fish an official length by the picture provided. If the picture is blurry or the measuring instrument not easily readable the submission will not be given an official length.

    3) In the picture, along with the measuring device, there must be a card/piece of paper or other material, that states the date, “Pennsylvania Fisherman”, "2017 Summer Bash", and the user name of the person who landed it for the photo to be counted in the contest. Any photo not containing any pieces of this information will be automatically disqualified, NO EXCEPTIONS.

4)This is a long contest starting on July 1st 2017, starting at 8am and ending on October 31st 2017 at 11:59pm that night. At that time, All submissions must be posted on the website, in this thread. Any submission posted after this time will not count. Any submission posted anywhere but in this thread will not count.

    5) Multiple entries per member are allowed this year. All entries must be made by a registered member and they must be the one who landed the fish being entered. The entries can be submitted at anytime during the event.

    6) The Fish must be caught in Pennsylvania.

    7) The fish longest in length determined by the staff of www.pafisherman.com will win the division it qualifies for.

    8) If there is a tie, the fish that was posted first on the website will be the winner.

    9) Saltwater will not be added to the bash this summer.

    10) You must be a registered member of www.pafisherman.com before the official start of the Bash.

10.1) Children: Any registered member that is permitted by rule 10 of the tourney(registered before the start) may have any of their children under rule 5 to post entries into the tournament as long as the rest of the rules are also followed. The "Catch Photo/s" must include a valid "Catch Card" with the childs name instead of a username if he/she does not have one. A photo of the child with/holding the fish and catch card must be presented for judging.

10.2) New members must send a private message to me asking to be included in the tourney. In addition, for that tourney that they are participating in as a new member, their catch card and photo must be takin at the body of water where the fish was caught. A second photo of the same fish held in-front of the body of water must be included in the entry post for it to count.

    11) At any time, for any reason, www.pafisherman.com reserves the right to change/add/delete any rule, submission, entry, or prize for any/no reason at all. Anyone found to be cheating will be automatically disqualified.

    12) In case of their being more prizes than entries, each entering partying will receive the higher prize that they won. All prizes that are not won during the tournament will be used for future tournaments/giveaways.

Relax man. Slow down. There's plenty of time.

Haven't you ever heard the parable of the two bulls?

There's an old bull and a young bull on a hill watching a herd of cows. The young bull says "Let's run down there and romance one of those cows." The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down and romance them all."

Place holder entry but let's get this thing started. We went to Moon Lake for the first time. Not 1 Bass but 4 Pickerel and a ton of pressure from boat and the shore for such a small lake. It's a start!

sighhhhhh....I hate to be the guy who starts it..... so if I remember correctly when the bash started it was stated that the date needed to be in the pic and then I think it was decided that it wasn't needed just the 2016 Bash was sufficient. So do we need the date this year or will the 2017 Bash be ok? I wanted to laminate my card again and I see MB3 has his date on there. Just asking to be sure.

That's my home lake. Don't be fooled, there is a ton if bass in there and some monsters too. I was out there last week. You could see 5 big schools if trout feeding on top moving around the lake. Super cool.

Clarification: the only date that needs to be on the card is "2017". The day and month won't be needed.

It's painters tape over a laminated card. Easily removed but it looks like I don't need to worry about it now lol Also I'll upgrade the division a few inches while I'm here.

We research all the lakes before we go and saw it has some pigs in it. I just couldn't get a Bass to bite. It was over an hour for us to get there, so far nothing beats the Delaware Water Gap close to us but it doesn't mean we should stop looking.

I was there last week for the last 2 hours and didn't get a bite. The 3 times I was there before that I caught a bass on 2 of the trips and 2 bass on the other trip. It just all depends there. My best advice for that lake is don't use anything that's "normal" because the bass see it 5 times a day

This fish probably won't win me anything, but it's a solid starting point for the tournament.

I had a hard time getting this fish to lay still. He was 19" whenever I pinched the tail like you're supposed to, but he was 18-3/4" with the tail open.

Smallie pure formality but a first place fish for now. Pa fisherman needs to help on this one. I'm the kin of of A-5 so he will need to measure this one.
