Just as it sounds, post pictures of your new gear and tackle to share with us. Also post any sales or deals you see out there. I think this will be cool to see what everyone else is getting their hands on.

I am going to start it off here, I purchased 3 new rods a little while back for trout fishing the lakes and needed 3 reels to go with. I ended up going with 3 Okuma Rox-30 spinning reels. Out of the box they seem pretty nice for lower end reels but is they live up to the other Okuma tackle I have then I will be happy.

I got bit by the Japan bug yesterday, and I made the purchase this morning. Got myself the MG 5.8:1 lefty version.

Nice pickup for sure, looks like that bug bit pretty hard. I am a lefty myself so even better.

Bargain bin at Wal Mart. Brought them to work to crush the barbs during downtime between rounds. 20150503_190041.jpg

Those jitterbugs and hoola poppers by arbagast are great LMB lures. I wish with them in both Pennsylvania and NY. They are some of the more productive top water lures out there. Those spinnerbaits are nice too, especially that booyah in red.

I put to good use that GC I won to Cabela's and ordered a Quantum Smoke SL10PTi. It was $159 on sale for $99, -$50 GC and I have my go to Trout set up. I absolutely love these reels for salt or fresh. I hope to give it a go tomorrow AM.

    Nice pickup...

I have about 8 Quantum Smoke Reels paired with Mojo Bass Rods for Tournaments. They are Great Reels and are starting to get really Cheap since the New Version is out now.

I just picked up a rod my friend made me. 7' heavy action one piece rod for musky, striper and other larger fish. Custom made to my specifications. Paired it up with a Penn Spinfisher V 4500

Also just picked up a new bag for the boat as I was out of proper storage. Should be good enough for a while.

Picked up a few odds and ends for my trip to Delaware. Some triangle sinkers, hooks, leader, swivels and got some 25 lb mono spun on my dad's old surf rig. Also picked up a couple of large spoons to play with. I'm gonna check out the local bait shop for any thing else I might need.

Also if anyone else gets the harbor freight circular, they have a coupon for this tool bag for $6.99. Add some Plano boxes and wallah one new tackle/gear bag for @ $15.

Lots of pockets and it'll hold a couple of large Plano boxes along with some smaller ones.

Well, it's almost full actually..... I think I have 2 of the plastic organizers that are empty. Some of the pockets are empty but all of the front pockets are full

I'm thinking about getting myself one like that. With 12 organizers I would be able to carry a lot more tackle than I am carrying now in my 3 organizers in my backpack. What would you say the weight is on that when its filled and does it have a shoulder strap?

Well after getting shown how it was done last week by the Live Target field mouse I decided it was time for me to get a couple of them and drive back up and try it again. I got one 3 inch and one 3 1/2 inch. The 3 inch is the white and grey pattern and the 3 1/2 is the brown and white.

    I also scored a few tomatos :)

I love those Avets. Light weight work horses. That is one nice set up you have. What is your target species?

I'm waiting on Amazon to bring me an Okuma ABF-30 today. As soon as the shoulder is feeling better I'm targeting catfish. It's not my favorite but something to do until I can casts as much as I need to.
